The cottage is serviced and can accommodate up to two people, with a luxurious king-size bed. Sleeping arrangements for babies and small children can be accommodated on request, prior to arrival. The aircon keeps the room at an ambient relaxing level throughout summer and winter. The heated towel rail warms those fluffy, soft towels in winter and the shower is to die for! Cozy electric blankets for warmth in winter are provided.
The room features full satellite TV, free WiFi, hair dryer and all linen & towels. A laundry service is available on request. Complimentary tea, coffee & milk provided.

When choosing to be self-catering the vegetable garden is there for you to enjoy, with seasonal, organically grown, fresh herbs and veggies. Enjoy a chat with the gardener, your host Melanie, and discover new wild indigenous herbs for those light summer salads or warm winter stews.

Late Check-Out
Whether your travel plans changed or something else came up, Art Lover’s Cottage provides you with as much flexibility as we can make possible. At times we will be able to accommodate early check-in and late check-out (with prior arrangement) and other amenities when you decide to stay with us.

COVID-19
During these uncertain times COVID 19 rules and regulations remain in place at all times. We are taking extra care to thoroughly clean & disinfect our cottage before and after each visitor. Social distancing is adhered to at all times. Key drop & go can be arranged to limit contact during peak levels of COVID-19.
Self-catering with fresh vegetables and herbs from our secret garden
Art Lover's Guest Cottage offers self catering accommodation. Our guests are encouraged to explore the vegetable garden and are welcome to select herbs and veggies for their self-catering meals. Please ask to speak to your host, Melanie, for guidance as to what is ready for harvesting and which indigenous and useful herbs you can enjoy in your creative meals.

In addition we do offer delicious hot or cold breakfasts as well as home cooked dinners, with seasonal, fresh veggies and herbs picked from the garden. Please note: Good food takes planning and time to prepare, which is why we ask our guests to request their breakfast and dinners well ahead of time. These lovingly prepared meals can be enjoyed at your leisure in the suite, where you are surrounded by walls of art, or perhaps you will want to enjoy your meal with a good glass of local wine while sitting outside in the garden courtyard beside a wood fire.
Artist Discoveries and Purchases
Art Lover's Guest Cottage is home to many art works which are for sale (mostly). In addition you are welcome to visit the artist's studio and home gallery should you be interested in purchasing art, or just simply want to come enjoy what's on show.  Your host, Melanie, can also suggest various places to visit during your stay with us, whether to view art or birds or plants or other interests, I will be happy to help you with your queries.
